The striking image of the Mango seems to draw the eye towards it, but is admirably supported by the cast of smaller fruits.  The fruit is set within an open box which has created some very interesting shadows which I particularly like to paint.  It probably took me as long to paint the pineapple as it did the rest of the fruit put together – the skin and texture is incredibly complicated when viewed closely.
