A walk along the river meandering through sunlit fields with lovely blue skies and only the birds to keep you company. Can there be anything more beautiful than the British countryside in summer? I don’t think so. I painted this scene as it reminded me of something Constable may have painted. Painting landscapes such as this is so relaxing as you get the feeling of being there. I could almost feel the heat of the sun and hear the rustling of the leaves in the gentle breeze.
