Wine, apples and grapes together with an old red book. I love painting these types of things as you can probably see if you have viewed my other paintings. The different textures and colours are enjoyable to paint and trying to capture the realism is a challenge. The red book was published in 1918 and describes several heroic acts by soldiers during the First World War.
