Oh the beauty of red tulips in Spring! They brighten any day and any surroundings. When I saw these I knew I just had to compose a painting showing them off. I chose green grapes to complement the lovely red colour of the tulips. Also green grapes feature a lot less in paintings than the red so I thought it was about time to include some. The pot is an old jam pot which has a lovely abstract pattern and muted colours. The wine glass is one of my own, green stemmed and used on probably more occasions than it should be.
