These lovely red-orange lilies were picked from my garden one morning in the summer and immediately set up for a painting. I placed them on a sideboard, with natural light coming from the right. I wanted a simple vase so as not to detract from the flowers. This tall slim one fitted the bill just right.

The painting has been framed for exhibition purposes and is shown below:
