I love painting lemons so I decided to place some in a wooden bowl and added some grapes for extra interest. The bowl was made in Malaysia and is very tactile, having many vertical burn marks around the top edge which have gouged into the wood. The bowl is very attractive and the colour seems to complement most fruits. The brass jug reflects the half cut lemon and creates further interest.
