I fell in love with this floral vase when I saw it in an antique shop a short while ago. I thought the design and colours were so attractive and would ideally complement several different types of fruit. It was manufactured in Germany by a company called Mettlach but I do not know its age. The box is wooden and coated with a gold coloured paint. I placed it with black and green grapes, a pear and a plum. Vine leaves were added for extra interest.
