One of my favourite subject matters – blue stilton and red wine. They always prove a winning combination with viewers. Some black grapes were added for extra interest and placed on a small wooden cheese board. I love painting the rind of the cheese and the attractive blue veining. The appearance of the rind varies from cheese to cheese and always seems to be a jumbled up mixture of different colours and is fun to paint.
