I love the way shiny silver objects reflect everything around them. The distorted shapes of a room interior and windows makes them extremely interesting to paint. The reflection of a clementine and the white doiley at the bottom of the siver jug really adds to the interest in the whole painting. I purchased the silver jug or coffee pot as it may well be, from a local antique centre because I found the shape so attractive.
