I painted a similar composition to this a short while ago but including satsumas. I liked the finished painting so much I thought I would paint the same setup but this time with lemons. The flowers in this painting were violas picked from my garden. The blue book is a favourite of mine as the colour seems to complement the lemons and oranges so well.
