A good supply of fine whisky with a little water and some good books – what’s not to like? The whisky decanter is the centrepiece of the painting with its myriad of highlights and reflections. I love the rich colour of the whisky illuminated through the glass. The books are fairly old and add character to the painting. The candle was included for fun and to create a little extra interest.
