I love the way shiny silver objects reflect everything around them. The distorted shapes of a room interior and windows make them extremely interesting to paint. The reflection of lemons and the white doiley at the bottom of the silver jug really adds to the interest of the whole painting. I purchased the silver jug or coffee pot as it may well be, from a local antique centre because I found the shape so attractive.
